OCALA, Fla. (WCJB) – The Classic Mile Park workout facility is located just outside of Ocala off Highway 40.

The property is over 700 acres with over 20 stables scattered around and a dirt and grass racing course. It is now on sale with a listing price of $37 million.

Owner Domenic Martelli explains the best parts of the property.

“The hills and the trees and everything, we looked at other properties when we came here in 1985 and finally came back here and brought the property. We enjoyed it for 37 years, we are now at the point where we have to retire, we had a lot of good times and we hope to be able to sell the property.

According to June home sales figures, Ocala has fallen nearly 7% in the number of homes sold, but the average price is up more than 25% from a year ago.

Listing agent Tasha Osbourne said equestrian properties are selling fast.

“Central Florida is a fast growing area, we have a lot of people coming to the World Equestrian Center, all disciplines are there, this property has a lot of demand. From 10 to 20 to 30 tracks.

The property also has five additional residences for employees, an office with a two-bedroom apartment and a main house which has its own private six-stall barn and screened-in swimming pool.

But Martelli said there was so much more to the land.

“Golf courses or dude ranches a million things you can do this is a wonderful property. I get up in the morning, drink my coffee and say thank God I want to die here, it’s paradise.

Martelli said they were ready to subdivide the 100 or even 10 acre property.
